Fat Burning Foods – Start Eating to Start Losing
Is there such a thing as natural fat burning foods? Can you really eat and burn fat? The general approach to losing weight it eating less food but really that is not the only approach. Sure you need to eat within your daily calorie allotment and it is important to eat healthy foods. It also helps to eat several smaller meals during the day. Skipping breakfast is a complete no-no and we all know that foods containing large amounts of calories and or saturated fats are not good for us. Whole grain cereals: Whole grains are a metabolism boosting food which means that you burn more faster. It also helps keep your insulin levels low so that you don’t experience a crash.
Oatmeal: Breakfast is a theme here. It is very important to eat a healthy breakfast as it gets your metabolism going right off the bat. Oatmeal breaks down slowly in your stomach so you don’t have an insulin spike and you feel fuller longer.
Jalapenos, Habeneros and Cayenne chiles: They get your whole body going! They contain a chemical called capsaicin that helps boost your metabolism.
Green Tea: Green tea contains a chemical called EGCG which makes your brain and nervous system run faster which means you burn more calories.
Chicken: Chicken makes the list for it’s metabolism boosting protein powers.
Coffee: It speeds up your heart rate and that helps you burn more calories. Of course if you drink it full of sugar the calories you are consuming pretty much negates the effectiveness of coffee’s calorie burning powers so if you are going to use this one you better drink it black.
